Flourishing animals, peoples, and the planet
Everyone should have access to affordable continued learning opportunities and resources. When peoples unite from a culture of care and respect they, the animals, and the planet can flourish.
Turning conscience into action for a thriving Earth
The Earth Charter is a document with sixteen principles powering a global movement. Together, we are turning conscience into action for a thriving Earth. We know you’re ready. Now, let’s get to work. Inspired by the Earth Charter, thousands of people and organizations around the world are part of the Earth Charter global movement. These individuals and organisations act at a local and independent level but collaborating continuously.
We collaborate with zoos, aquariums, sanctuaries, wildlife centres, schools, colleges, universities, as well as research facilities, companion and farm animals in support of our collective goals of learning and sharing around universal values.
Value education is a space to examine our day-to-day life and our decisions. It’s about questioning our assumptions, the underlying roots of our worldviews and asking, if it is contributing to the wellbeing of the people and the planet. It’s not about learning things by heart but about looking at what is bad and what is good from different perspectives and from the perspective of common good.
AnimalConcepts is proud to be an Earth Charter International Partner, and our purpose is rooted in and based on an interconnected culture of care and respect, serving peoples, animals, the greater community of life, and the beautiful planet we share.
The Earth Charter
Like you, we care about animal, human, and planetary wellbeing. Embedded in the Earth Charter is a specific vision of cultivating – not imposing – a sense of interdependence and connection with the living world, as well as a sense of responsibility for wellbeing and the common good, and solidarity. The heart of Earth Charter is “ethics of care and respect”.
It’s important to know that we need a change of mind as well as a change of heart. We need not only to learn from our cognitive selves but also experience things from our inner self. When we’re able to experience that and therefore have that kind of new consciousness and deep connection with the world, kindness will be flourishing and radiating from us.
Earth Charter International (ECI) is the organization that powers the Earth Charter global movement with information, networking, and education to turn conscience into action. The mission of Earth Charter International is to contribute to the transition to sustainable ways of living on the planet.

Sustainable Development Goals
Make the SDGs a reality.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The 17 SDGs are integrated—they recognise that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Planetary wellbeing
Join the online planetary wellbeing through the lens of the Earth Charter community, combined with the Practical Animal Welfare Science on animal wellbeing and the One Care on human wellbeing. Sharing and learning together for a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society.
Everyone should have access to affordable continued learning opportunities and resources. When peoples unite from a culture of care and respect they, the animals, and the planet can flourish.
In over 350 global events in 42 countries across 6 continents we have inspired and empowered thousands of professionals in creating changes for themselves, the animals they care for, and the planet.
In 2022 the overarching theme for all three platforms is Systems and Symptoms and every month has a different topic.
